Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list shows the food items that we need right now.

NOTE: We cannot accept anything past its use by date, nor any item that has been opened and/or part used. Additionally, we can’t distribute baby formula (World Health Organisation recommendation), medicines of any sort and nutritional supplements/slimming aids.

Food donations may be delivered to Gillingham Foodbank during opening hours on Monday and Thursday mornings, or if purchased in store, at the following locations:

(Please note that Tesco and Asda collection points are intended for food that has been purchased in-store. Any food that has been purchased in a different store should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.)
